What MegaParty Go actually stores
Here is the honest inventory. We keep things minimal by design:
- Party content you create — your event parameters, generated plans, and archived celebrations stay on your device as part of the normal app experience.
- A unique device identifier — used solely for analytics attribution and push notification delivery. It is not your name, email, or phone number. Think of it as a random label, not a dossier.
- Text you submit for AI generation — only the message content you type when requesting a party plan. Nothing else from your device is bundled along with it.
That is the complete list. We do not ask for your real name, home address, contacts, photos, location history, or payment details within the app itself.
What we deliberately do not do
MegaParty Go is a solo planning tool, not a platform where strangers exchange information. Specifically:
- Users do not send personal data to each other through the app.
- The developer does not operate a database of user identities.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any information — because there is nothing meaningful to sell.
- We do not use your party ideas to train models on your behalf without your knowledge; AI processing is limited to generating your requested content.
Third-party services we rely on
MegaParty Go integrates a small set of external tools. Each one has a specific job, and none of them receive a full picture of who you are.
OpenAI — AI text generation
When you ask MegaParty Go to generate or rescue a party plan, the text of your request is sent to OpenAI, a third-party AI service, to produce the response. Only the words you type into the prompt field are transmitted — not your contacts, not your device name, not your Apple ID. OpenAI processes this input according to their own privacy terms. We chose this approach so the creative heavy lifting happens off-device while keeping your footprint small.
Singular — analytics attribution
Singular is a third-party analytics platform that helps us understand how people discover MegaParty Go — for example, which campaigns lead to installs. It may receive a unique device identifier and standard technical signals (such as device type and OS version). It does not receive the content of your party plans or any personal profile you have not explicitly provided elsewhere.
OneSignal — push notifications
OneSignal is a third-party service that delivers push notifications you opt into — such as reminders or updates about the app. To route messages to the correct installation, OneSignal uses a unique device token. It does not receive your party archive, your custom requests, or personal contact information from us.
Children
MegaParty Go is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will address it promptly.
Your choices
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. You can delete archived events within the app. Uninstalling MegaParty Go removes locally stored app data from your device. Because we do not maintain a central account system, there is no separate "delete my account" flow — your data simply lives on your phone.
Changes to this policy
We may update this document as the app evolves or as regulations shift. When we do, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of MegaParty Go after an update means you accept the revised policy.
