The agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Max Sebastian James Jury / the-life-group.com ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the MegaParty Go mobile application ("the App"). The App is an AI-powered party planning tool available on iOS.
What MegaParty Go provides
MegaParty Go generates structured party plans based on parameters you select — mood, guest count, location, budget, and custom requests. The output includes suggested activities, pacing, atmosphere ideas, and practical tips. The App also offers a built-in timer, a rescue-plan feature, and an event archive.
All generated content is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence through OpenAI, a third-party service. The AI writes suggestions; you make the decisions. We do not guarantee that any plan will suit every guest, venue, local law, or safety requirement.
Your responsibilities as a host
You are the person in charge of any real-world event you organize. That means:
- You evaluate whether suggested activities are safe, legal, and appropriate for your guests and location.
- You comply with local laws, venue rules, noise ordinances, alcohol regulations, and any other applicable requirements.
- You do not rely on the App as a substitute for professional event planning, security, medical, or legal advice.
- You use the App in good faith and do not attempt to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content through the AI prompts.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Party plans, rescue suggestions, and all other AI output are provided for creative inspiration. They may be incomplete, impractical, or occasionally surprising. We do not warrant the accuracy, safety, or fitness of any generated text. Treat every suggestion as a starting point — not a command.
When you submit a prompt, only the text of that message is sent to OpenAI for processing. No personal profile data accompanies it. OpenAI operates under its own terms and policies as an independent third-party provider.
Third-party services
MegaParty Go integrates external services to function:
- OpenAI — processes your typed prompts to generate party plan text.
- Singular — provides install attribution analytics using a unique device identifier.
- OneSignal — delivers push notifications via a device token when you have opted in.
Each third-party service operates under its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their independent actions, though we select partners with care and limit the data shared with them to what is necessary.
No user-to-user data exchange
MegaParty Go is not a social platform. Users do not communicate with each other through the App, and no mechanism exists for sharing personal information between accounts. The developer does not collect personal user data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The App, its design, branding, illustrations, and underlying code are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial party planning. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, or resell the App or its components.
AI-generated plans created for your personal events are yours to use for those events. We retain rights to the App itself and its general methodology.
Availability and changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that AI output will always meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any event you organize based on its suggestions. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if the App was free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm others or the service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
